our story
25 years ago, under the leadership of Bishop Dixon, Center of Hope was given the opportunity to create content for select broadcast stations. The idea of pushing content through media was relatively foreign but what stuck out was the impact: we found that we were able to reach more people in a 22 min broadcast than we had ever been able to reach at one time in our church space. The impact was revelatory, and though we lacked many of the necessary resources to make media production and content creation a constant, we became deliberate about getting there.
Our first major step was in 2007. We built the first Hope Studios on our 3.5-acre Inglewood campus which was specifically designed for advancements in audio production. Then, the 2020 COVID-19 global pandemic happened and we were all reminded of just how much media moves culture which catalyzed our next move…the Hope Studios we know today.
With conversations already beginning with global recording artists, and organizations like Meta (Facebook) the nearly 3,000 sq ft multi-media studio will leverage its grounds to produce and develop content and content creators in the media, tech, and advocacy arenas.
